PURE

My skin is on the drier side and I always assumed foam cleansers were just not for me. My friend kept insisting I try PURE and I finally gave in. The foam here is different. Soft rather than sudsy. It doesn't grab at my skin. After about three weeks I noticed my morning routine was going better generally. My serum was absorbing faster and my moisturiser was sitting more evenly. I think PURE was the thing I didn't know was missing from the beginning of my routine.

I came to ENGEL LOEWE specifically because the brand is vegan and I wanted a full INCI-disclosed product I could trust. PURE ticked all those boxes and then delivered good results on top. My skin has become less congested over the past month and the redness I sometimes got after cleansing has almost entirely gone. The floral and fruity scent is nice in the morning, feels like a proper ritual rather than just washing your face. Not giving five stars yet only because I want another month before I commit to a full verdict.

Quick review because I know people are busy. Before PURE, my skin was dull, my pores were visibly congested, and my makeup looked terrible by noon. After two weeks of using this morning and night, my pores look cleaner, my makeup lasts properly, and people have actually asked what I've been doing differently. I haven't changed anything else in my routine. Just swapped my old cleanser for this one. It's the EU-formulated version and the quality of the ingredients is clear. Genuinely one of the better skincare decisions I've made.

I travel constantly for work and my skin takes a beating from different water qualities, recycled air, and disrupted routines. I started bringing PURE with me and it's become the one consistent thing my skin gets regardless of where I am. Even in hard water cities my skin doesn't feel gunky or tight after using it. The rinse is impressively clean. No residue, no film. Within about two weeks of consistent use, even on the road, my complexion was more stable than it had been in months.

The morning use has genuinely changed how my skin looks by midday. Before PURE, I was always touching up by noon because my T-zone was out of control. Now I use it as my first step in the morning ritual and the sebum balance throughout the day is so much better. It's been about five weeks. My foundation looks fresh for longer and I'm not reaching for blotting papers every couple of hours. Not sure if it's the sage or the overall formulation but something is working.
